On Thursday, 26th of January 2023, the new series of the DAI Cairo for scientific events in the German House Qurna was launched. Within the framework of the project “Necropolis without Borders”, the Ifao mission d’étude et de conservation has started the series with 9 short presentations about “Current Research in Deir el-Medina”. The organizers, Dietrich Raue, Cédric Larcher and Kathrin Gabler, are very pleased that almost 100 participants joined the first event and spent a great evening together with plenty of new insights on on-going work in Deir el-Medina.
