Collection of personal data
External Hosting
This website is hosted by an external host (Hostpoint AG). The data which is collected from this website is saved on the host’s servers. This data may consist mainly of IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contact data, names, website accesses and other data which are generated by using the website.
The host is used for the purpose of contract fulfilment vis-à-vis our potential and existing internet users (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Our host will only process your data insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of its service obligations and will follow our instructions about this data.
Data collection
Data that your browser transmits during the merely informational use of the website, i.e. when you do not log in to the website, register for it or otherwise send us information, in order to enable you to visit the website, are collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). The collection of this data by the provider Hostpoint AG takes place automatically as soon as you enter this website.
Data may be passed on to our provider for the provision of this website.
Data security
We maintain up-to-date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from risks during data transmission and from third parties gaining knowledge. These are adapted to the current state of the art.
Log File Data
In order to ensure the functioning of the website, the provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called log files on their servers. This data is also used to ensure the security of our information technology systems and to optimise the website. These are:
- IP addresses
- Date and time
- Protocol information such as protocol type, version, the desired action, status codes or information about the transferred data (e.g. the size of a question or an answer)
- Error messages
- Depending on the application, information such as message IDs in the case of e-mails or, in the case of web access, information on the browser used (user agent string) or, if applicable, the page from which the visitor accessed the website.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - for this purpose, the log files must be collected.
Storage period
The data remains on our provider's systems until the operational necessity ceases and the legally or contractually stipulated time limits expire, after which it is automatically deleted. For most data, this is a maximum of six months.
Data for statistical analysis
This website is using a basic statistical analysis by the web analytics company Logaholic. The only personal data that the Logaholic software collects and stores are IP numbers.
