I was a post-doctoral researcher on the tri-national SNSF/FNRS-funded project “Crossing Boundaries: Understanding Complex Scribal Practices in Ancient Egypt” between the Universities of Basel and Liège and the Museo Egizio Turin (2019 to 2023). Until May 2022, I also managed the Basel team. I was significantly involved in conceiving and applying for this project and successfully implementing it. “Crossing Boundaries” deals with 11,000 papyrus fragments and 230 larger papyrus ensembles stored in Turin. My focus was the identification of administrative texts and letters and the preparation of editions of these texts. The material is accessible in the innovative Turin Papyrus Online Platform, our working and publishing tool.
